This ward in Okhla has most candidates with ‘criminal’ cases
The campaigning for the MCD election 2022 is in full swing. And as voters get ready to decide about which candidate to vote it is important that they should know about their background and educational qualification.

In the first part of the series, the OT is sharing information about the ward which has the most candidates with criminal cases in Okhla. Of the six candidates in the fray in 188–Abul Fazal Enclave ward, four have criminal cases. Of them on the top list is Ashu Khan, 40, against whom there are 10 criminal cases. BA, LLB from CCS University Meerut UP, the highly-educated Ashu is contesting on SP ticket.
Sitting Councillor from AAP Wajid Khan, who is trying his luck for second time, has 5 criminal cases against him. Wajid, 41, is 10 th pass.
Babar Khan, who is contesting from Bheem Party, is facing one criminal case. Mohd Arif of AIMIM has been slapped with one criminal case.
Congress Ariba Khan, 29 and BJP’s Charan Singh, 45, and Shahnawaz Khan, 27, who is contesting from INDS have no criminal cases against them.
