Ruckus at Shaheen Bagh hospital after words spread in the locality that a woman and her newborn die during delivery. Advocate and Congress leader Aarfa Khanam in a live FB address informed the netizens about the unfortunate incident, saying a woman and a newborn died during delivery due to negligence of Cribs hospital doctors, a claim that the OT was unable to authenticate independently.
However, the cause of deaths of two will only be known after the post-mortem reports, said sources.
In the live video, family members of the deceased also narrate their ordeal.
Before filing the report, the OT made several calls to Cribs Hospital owner Noorani to get his comments over the development. But he said as he was in Bihar and busy with campaigning he won’t be able to talk on the issue.
Why you don’t talk with the management in Cribs Hospital located at Shaheen Bagh, he said. An official picked up the call and said she would ask the doctor or manager to call back. When asked about the Sunday night incident, she said as she was on leave she was not aware of it. She assured the OT over phone that somebody will call in to explain the stand by the hospital. But even after more than three hours of the call the OT is yet to receive any call. Once we get their version it will be added in the report.
Advocate Muzakir told the OT that the deceased family was from Jalebi Chowk in Madanpur.
