One hospital official said it was at 10.30 am when fire broke out in the canteen of the hospital leading to alarm.
“But it was brought under control and staffers rushed to douse it. The fire was in the canteen. Nobody has been hurt and no loss reported,” said the staffer.
He said there is no need to worry as things are under control and work has resumed.
A small clip of the incident has also surfaced online in which some staffers can be seen standing out with smoke bellowing from the canteen on the ground floor.
