Watch: Residents launch drive against drug abuse to free Okhla from menace
Some residents of Okhla have launched a war on drugs to free the locality from the menace. On Sunday, the Earth Care Mission organised a campaign against drug abuse in the area of Abul Fazal Enclave-1, Jamia Nagar.
They took out a march giving a message to the general public of the locality and to inform them about the drug abuse in society, said SZI Hashmi
He said all the office bearers of Earth Care Mission along with general public participate in the awareness march. Those who took part were: Er. S.Z.I. Hashmi, Advt. M.M. Hashmi, Advt. Azhar Aalam, Abuzar Khan, Saeed Akhtar Khan, Sibghatullah Sufi, Parvez Ahmad, Ijtaba Ahmad, Khaliq Khan, Mirza Iftekhar Baig, Bhullan Khan, Raquib Khaleeque, Sibghatullah Khan and Insha Hashmi.
The organiser said the campaign was started in the background of three deaths in the locality with two from alleged drug overdose.
