Dr Zafarul Islam Khan receiving Kunwar-Mirza Friendship Award 2022 given by Maulana Azad Education Society of Anjanshaheed to Shibli Academy in recognition of its century-long services to scholarship, freedom movement and Hindu-Muslim unity.
Khan is a former Delhi Minorities chairman. Also, he was head of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat is a federation of various Muslim organisations in India.
Khan founded Milli Gazette in January 2000. Now the English weekly has ceased publication and now it is only in digital format.
