Professor Waseem Ahmad Khan, former chief Proctor Jamia Millia Islamia, has pitched himself for a new role in university affairs.
He said he wiil be contesting Jamia Teachers Association (JTA) election to be held soon.
He wrote: “Dear colleague, during the last few weeks, I have been approached by substantial number of colleagues, friends and well-wishers urging me to contest the forthcoming JTA EC electon for president -ship. Respecting their wishes /sentiments, I have agreed to contest the ensuing election for the position of President.
I very humbly solicit your valuable vote and support.”
Professor Khan is associated with the faculty of Education, Jamia Millia.
