In the beginning of this year, fifty-four students who were given coaching and training by RCA had cleared Civil Services (Main) Examination 2019. And out of these, thirty have finally made it to the Civil Services.

The RCA was established in 2010 with the principal objectives to provide free coaching facilities, testing and evaluation to enable the aspirants to succeed in civil services examinations and various other competitive examinations, for students belonging to weaker sections of society, said JTA post bearer Majid Jamil.

“The candidates belonging to minority, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category and women candidates are selected for coaching on the basis of an entrance test conducted for the purpose.

“Year after year candidates coached and trained at RCA have cracked the coveted civil service examinations. Including this year’s tally of 30 successful candidates, it has produced around 220 Civil Servants which encompass IAS, IFS, IPS, IFos, IRS,IRTS, etc through UPSC’s examinations.

“Besides, more than 240 students were selected in various State/Provincial Civil Services and Bank PO,” said the JTA.

“Notably this is the biggest selected group in the country from a public coaching centre. And it is indeed a matter of pride for all of us associated with this great central university which is celebrating its Centenary Year.”

JTA congratulates Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, JMI for her continuous support and patronage towards RCA, JMI. JTA also compliments Tanvir Zafar Ali, IAS (Retd.), Honorary Director, Mohammad Tarique, Deputy Director and all faculty members and mentors of RCA JMI for this remarkable achievement.

Once again, JTA extend its greetings and best wishes to all the successful candidates, said the JTA, adding that we are extremely hopeful that these numbers will surely increase in the coming years.
