Watch: Grandmother on cloud nine as Arman returns home from warzone Ukraine

Okhla-based Shajahan is very happy as his 26-year-old grandson Mohd Arman Beg stranded in Ukraine since the war with Russia started is back home. Arman landed in Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday at 4:30 am from a flight coming from Romania.

Arman left the city where with his 50 friends where they were studying medicine to reach Romania border from where they entered the country and took a flight to India under evacuation operation launched by the Indian Government to rescue stranded Indians. At the IGIA, Arman’s grandmothers, father, uncles, brothers and sisters waited the whole night as they reached the airport at 11:58 on Wednesday in hope that the flight will land early. But they had to wait for hours and spend sleepless time at the airport waiting for his view.

As Arman came out at the reception he was received with warm welcome as he was returning home after 5 years and six months. Now, in India, Arman’s family like many other students who landed to safety at Delhi airport on Thursday expressed their worries about the future of their course. They are not sure what will happen to their degrees.
