MAYOR INSPECTS WORKS RELATED TO SWACHH SURVEKSHAN-2021
A PARK IS BEING DEVELOPED ON UNUSED LAND IN MOLARBAND AREA: MAYOR SMT. ANAMIKA
Mayor of South Delhi Municipal Corporation Anamika today inspected works related to Swachh Survekshan-2021 in Molarband area. During the inspection, she enquired about services provided by the SDMC in the area. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Central Zone Awanish Kumar and Senior Zonal Officials were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Anamika inspected cleanliness and sanitation works and sought feedback from local citizens about the same. She enquired about issues related to citizens and asked officials to address them in a proper way.
She asked the officials to repair roads and streets so people could not face any difficulty during the coming monsoon season. She made aware people about segregation of dry and wet waste at source and also appealed to participate actively in Swachh Survekshan-2021.
Anamika said that a park is being developed on unused land in Molarband. While appreciating the effort of officials, she said it will be thrown open to the public as soon as possible.
She said a dedicated track will be made inside the park, trees and plants will be planted to increase the green cover in the park.
She said with the move people will not only get a park in their nearby locality but will also help in protecting the environment of the entire area.
