Meet Jamia’s budding star
Harshita Shukla, a 4th semester student of MSc Development Extension, Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension (DACEE), Jamia Millia Islamia has bagged a Silver Medal in 1500 m race at the 82nd Delhi State Annual Athletics Championship 2022 held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
Last year too, on 3rd October 2021, Harshita had brought laurels for the Department and University as she bagged a Silver Medal at the 2nd Elite Women’s Haryana State Boxing Championships 2021-22 organised by the Haryana Boxing Sangh in the Fly Weight 54kg-57kg category.
Harshita excels academically too and between her rigorous practice sessions participates in all the academic and co- curricular activities organised by the department.
