Watch: Boy shot at in Batla House dies
The boy who was shot at Azim Diary in Batla House a few hours ago succumbed to his injuries. The police said the boy died and was rushed to Holy Family Hospital.
A PCR call regarding gunshot injury to a boy in Azeem dairy & victim has been taken to Holy Family Hospital was received in PS Jamia Nagar, said the police.
“In Holy Family Hospital, Asif (brother of victim) R/o Azeem Dairy, Jamia Nagar, was found present, who stated that he was present inside his house. He came out and found that his younger brother Mohd Abdula was lying injured on the road. He took his brother to Holy Family Hospital, where doctor declared him dead. Deceased is student of 12th Class. People residing nearby have been examined and legal action is being taken accordingly,” said the police.
The injured boy has been rushed to a hospital, said Wajid.
The source, an activist, said one youth has been hurt in the incident and he has been rushed to Holy Family Hospital. The second firing incident in the area has left residents in deep shock.
