Police issue statement on ex-MLA Asif arrest. It said: “On 04-01-23 at 2 pm, Police officials of Shaheen bagh were checking the CCTV cameras in Nai Basti area regarding an incident of MV Theft.
“Asif Mohammad Khan came on the spot and started misbehaving with the police staff. Accordingly, a case U/S 186,353,341,153 A IPC has been registered at PS Shaheen Bagh and accused Asif Mohd Khan was arrested. Thereafter, he has been sent to 14 days judicial custody by order of the court.”
