Deceased Nadeem’s father gets Rs 10 lakh compensation and a few injured in Tikona Park AC compressor blast get Rs 2 lakh each on Saturday. The incident had rocked the locality on April 15, 2022 and one youth Nadeem had succumbed to the injuries received in the blast.
Days after the incident, Okhla MLA Amantullah Khan had announced Rs 10 lakh compensation for the victims’ kin and today he distributed the cheque to the family members. In a social media post shared on his timeline, the MLA wrote: “ओखला विधानसभा क्षेत्र के तिकोना पार्क स्थित रेस्टोरेंट में सिलेंडर फटने से घायल हुए लोगों को आज दिल्ली सरकार की तरफ़ से 2 लाख रुपए और इसी हादसे में जान गँवाने वाले नदीम के परिवार को 10 लाख रुपए का चेक सौंपा, साथ ही हल्की चोट लगने से घायल एक छोटी बच्ची इकरा के पिता को 20 हज़ार रुपए की सहायता राशि दी। ज़रुरतमंदों की मदद के लिए सहायता राशि उपलब्ध कराने के लिए अरविंद केजरीवाल जी का तहें दिल से शुक्रिया।“

The blast then had left residents deeply shocked as many people were hurt also. Over the period of time, the injured recovered and had turned up to receive cheque today.
