    Received 6,500 calls related to psychological, anxiety from Covid recovered patients: SDMC

    Received 6,500 calls related to psychological, anxiety from Covid recovered patients: SDMC

    In order to provide psychological support to Covid-19 patients, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has started telecalling services in all four zones through helpline numbers. Nearly 6,500 calls related to psychological problems and anxiety have received on the numbers. Team of trained doctors has been assigned the duty to provide psychological and related support to the patients affected with Covid-19.

    The Toll free number- 1800115676 is for all citizens living in SDMC area while separate Helpline numbers are functional at each Zone of the SDMC.

    For West Zone, Helpline number is 9999019426, for Najafgarh Zone Helpline number is 9999019340, for Central Zone Helpline number is 9999019745 and for South Zone Helpline number is 9999019375.

    Telecalling services are being provided on these numbers between 9 am and 5:30 pm and the people affected with Covid-19 can contact get psychological support to overcome the situation arises due to Covid-19 pandemic.

    Since telecalling services are available at various levels, people are getting physiological support in all possible manner. Through these helplines, doctors, designated to recieve calls, have been trying to educate and aware people about importance of medical health.

    They are also being told as how to ensure peace of mind during such a crucial period. Since people are staying at their homes due to Covid pandemic, they are getting consultancy at their homes through the telecalling facility.

    The SDMC is dedicated to ensure well being of citizens during the ongoing situation hence it is making all efforts for them.
