No usage charge on toilet, urinal blocks in slums, JJ colonies: Anamika
Mayor Anamika today said the toilet and urinal blocks in the area of slums and J J clusters are free of cost for the people. She said the corporation on the recommendation of the Standing Committee, had passed a resolution in the House on 17.11.2020, clearly mentions that “no charges are charged from the users of the toilet blocks/urinal blocks situated in the area of J J colonies in SDMC.”
She maintained that stern action will be taken against the private agency ensuring upkeep and maintenance of the toilet/urinal blocks if found guilty of charging money from users in slums and J J clusters. Even their contract can be revoked, if failed to comply with the resolution.
