Ismat Naaz Bano, 78, was undergoing treatment for kidney problem in a local hospital and died at 7.30 am on Tuesday. She was laid to rest in AFE graveyard the same day after asar, said Khalid.
She was living with her second son Khalid in AFE after the death of her husband, Mufti Shamsuddin, about nine years ago.
Though from Bihar, her husband was also buried at Batla House qabristan.
Daughter of late Hasnain Syed Ismat, deceased Ismat Naaz Bano has left behind three sons and a daughter, besides two brothers Husain Zulqarnain and Jawed Zulqarnain and a sister, said a resident.
