After Airtel, Jio enters Okhla fiber internet sector
After Airtel, now Jio has entered Jamia Nagar fiber internet sector. For the last few days, residents said digging on road of Abul Fazal Enclave is going on with fiber being laid.
On being asked, a worker said the fiber is being laid by Jio.
Right now the fiber is being laid on outer road and is not known whether it will be laid inside the colony and residents will get the chance to use high-speed internet as it happens in other locality of Delhi.
Airtel is also claiming to provide high-speed fiber internet in unauthorized Jamia Nagar. The connections are not underground due to some reasons and connection is over ground but users are well satisfied with the service.

The arrival of Jio in Jamia Nagar internet sector has been welcomed as they feel that competition between two national-level internet providers will give more opportunity to users.
It is not known from when Jio will provide service in the locality. The internet service has come a long way in Jamia Nagar from the old days when the service used to be very poor and regular connectivity being a big issue.
Also, the arrival of big players has brought drastic change with local providers also promising to provide quality connection.
