Watch: Candidates appear for Jamia entrance tests for admission to undergraduate, PG courses
Entrance Test for admission to various postgraduate (PG), undergraduate (UG), Diploma and PG Diploma Programmes began today at various test centres on Jamia Millia Islamia campus in two shifts. Entrance tests will continue till August 28, 2021.
Entrance tests for Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and PG Diploma in Broadcast Technology were conducted today in the morning shift while in the afternoon shift entrance tests for admission to Bachelor of Fine Arts(BFA-Applied Arts), MA in Conflict Analysis & Peace Building, M. Tech- Computational Mathematics and PG Diploma in Urdu Mass Media were conducted in the afternoon shift. All Covid-19 related guidelines and protocols were followed during the entrance tests.
JMI Vice Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar expressed her satisfaction on the timely beginning of the entrance tests even in the ongoing difficult pandemic period. She appreciated the efforts of the Deans & other teachers involved with the entrance tests, Controller of Examination and his team for the successful organisation of the entrance tests.
Entrance tests for some of the courses having higher number of applicants will be conducted at test centres in other cities like Thiruvananthapuram, Lucknow, Patna, Kolkata, Srinagar and Gauhati apart from New Delhi.
