Proud moment for Okhla! Meet Aabida, spelling bee winner
India Spelling Bee conducted national finale round on Sunday December 20, 2020 online. Competition was among regional winners. Representation of northern region was done by Syeda Aabida Manzoor of GD Goenka Public School, Sarita Vihar, who secured first position in regional round.
She not only competed with the students from more than 20 States of India but also won 2nd runner up position in national round of India spell bee.
This is not for the first time that Aabida has won award. Earlier too she brought laurels to the family when she bagged gold medal in the National Science Olympiad 2019 (IGKO)for achieving zonal rank 14 and international rank 75, said her father.
