In some cases, a resident said animal lovers are repurposing old sweaters and donated clothes to layer up their furry friends. A resident went ahead to buy brightly-coloured dog coats to keep them warm. With temperature in Delhi dropping and most of the people wearing warm clothes, it is time to take of care of stray dogs of the locality, said N Rahman.
In other places also, residents have been taking care of the stray dogs. A trader in Zakir Nagar has provided warm clothes and shelter to the dogs outside his shop.
