Jamia to organise corona (antigen) test camp at Ansari Health Centre
Considering the health concerns of students, employees and their dependents Dr. M. A. Ansari Health Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) and Delhi Health Services are jointly organising a Corona(Antigen) Test Camp on 22nd and 23rd August, 2020 from 10.00am onwards on the university campus. The tests will be conducted for 100-150 persons a day.
On Saturday (22nd August) tests will be conducted for students of the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) and other students staying in the campus while on Sunday (23rd August) university employees and their dependents will be tested for Corona (Antigen).
As per the government guidelines all persons coming for test are required to carry their Adhaar Card or valid Identity Card.
The University has designated Dean Students Welfare (DSW) as the Nodal Officer to be assisted by the Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, JMI and Assistant Registrar, Administration Branch, JMI as the Coordinating Officers for Corona related issues of the university.
The matters concerning quarantine, reporting mechanism of Corona infection, follow-up action required in such cases, coordination with RWAs, Social distancing norms and adherence of the guidelines issued under disaster Disaster Management Act etc to be supervised by the Nodal Officer.
Other offices and establishments of the university to coordinate with the Nodal Officer and extend all assistance as required by him and any employee found Corona Positive will be required to report to the Nodal Officer for further assistance.
