Watch: Chicken fry flying off Shan’s eatery, food lovers line up to grab tempting opening day offer
It is 11 pm on Saturday night. The air is nippy as winter has arrived. But in this part of Abul Fazal Enclave, food lovers are lining up at a new shop selling fry chicken.
A resident returning from his office said requesting not to be quoted: “I was a bit surprised to see a huge rush at the shop that too at this time of the night. Then I stopped and asked a few people. I was told that the owner has opened a new shop, Al Azeez food corner. He was offering buy 1 kg fry chicken and get 1 kg free.”
Md Shan Khan said the opening offer of buy 1 kg fry chicken and get 1 kg free was a huge hit. The price of one kg is Rs 280 and my fried chicken has been sold and still there are people waiting for their turn as you can see, he said.
A food lover who was waiting to buy said he bought one kilogram and he relished the taste. And those who couldn’t lay their hands have to wait for the next day. It is not known whether the opening offer will continue for next day.
