Thieves target batteries of cars in Shaheen Bagh
Several batteries of cars have gone missing, according to a Facebook video aired by a local resident.
The video was shared by local leader Abdul Wahab Malik on his FB timeline on Sunday soliciting several comments. The resident, a youngster, is seen showing several cars parked on Shaheen Bagh 40 futta road with their bonnet open and batteries missing. He said the incident took place on Saturday in the locality.
The youths can be heard telling residents to make sure to park their cars at a place where there is CCTV installed so that if batteries are stolen then the face of the thieves could be seen.
This is not one incident reported in the locality, many residents from time to time have lamented that from time to time they are told about car battery theft.
