Rs 2-lakh bike theft caught on camera in Shaheen Bagh, according to a resident. Fahad said it was a few days ago when his more than Rs 2-lakh Bajaj KTM 200 RC was stolen from Shaheen Bagh lane where it was parked and locked.
Two youths can be seen in the camera breaking the lock of my bike and then driving it away, he said. Since his bike has been stolen, Fahad is devastated and said even after filing a complaint he is yet to know about his bike, his lifeline.

Fahad is not the only one in Okhla to have lost his bike. From time to time residents do lament about bike theft in the locality. A few months ago, a lawyer had shared a video with the OT of a man stealing his bike from his house parking lot in Abul Fazal Enclave. According to residents it is not only bike and other items that are targeted by thieves in the locality. There are cases in which thieves have been found stealing internet wearing after coming to know that it has copper, said one resident.
