Proud moment for Okhla! Rizwan adds another feather to his cap. Dr Khan Mohd Rizwan, Okhla-based poet, has been honoured by Urdu Academy of Uttar Pradesh for his work on Asad Badyun, a well-known Urdu poet.
Khan who is a known figure in Delhi circle for reciting Urdu poetry told the OT over phone that he is delighted to know that he has been selected for the award.

This is not for the first time that Khan has won award.
Dr Khan Mohd Rizwan, born in 1982, is from Jahanabad, Bihar. He did BA, MA from Aligarh Muslim University and Mphil and PhD in Urdu from Delhi University and
Advance diploma in Mass Media in Urdu from JNU.
