1,607 new Covid cases in Delhi The national Capital saw 1,520 cases with one person succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours in the last 24 hours, according to the city health department on Saturday. Well known food critic Jawed Iqbal Khan bereaved.  His sister, Naiyer Sultana , passed away today. Tadfeen will take place after Isha at Shaheen Bagh qabristan. Originally from Bihar’s Gaya district, 56-year-old Sultana lost battle to cancer in Delhi. After being diagnosed of anaplastic thyroid cancer year ago, she was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Delhi with the family residing in N-block Abul Fazal Enclave, said Khan, who is also a social activist and a known figure in Delhi. She has left behind three sons, one daughter and husband.
