Guidelines for home isolation revised As Delhi sees surge in Covid cases with the city recording 17,335 cases, positivity 17.73 per cent, 9 deaths on Saturday, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has issued new guidelines for patients with mild symptoms and asymptomatic one. “Asymptomatic patients can be treated at home. Delhi under 55-hour-long weekend curfew: Know what’s allowed, what’s not The national Capital is under a 55-hour-long weekend curfew. Here is Metro schedule during weekend curfew With weekend curfew starting from Friday night, the Delhi Metro issued a statement regarding the services on January 8 and 9. During this period, Metro services will be available as follows: 1) Metro trains will be available at a frequency of 15 minutes on the Yellow Line (i.e. HUDA City Centre to Samaypur Badli) and Blue Line (i.e. Dwarka Sec-21 to NOIDA Electronic City/Vaishali) 2) On all other lines, trains will be available at a frequency of 20 minutes during the weekend curfew. Delhi cases update: January 7 The national Capital on Friday saw another rise in Covid cases with the city registering 17,335 fresh cases and nine deaths. The positivity rate climbed to 17.73 per cent. The number of active cases in Delhi now stands at 39,873. Delhi had reported 15,097 cases on Thursday with six deaths at a positivity rate of 15.34 per cent. On Wednesday the City had reported 10,665 cases and 5,481 cases on Tuesday.
