AAP workers feast on biryani after Amanatullah-Wajid patch up
It was a day of patch-up in Okhla for political parties. If in the afternoon Asif Md Khan and Parvez Hashmi, longtime foes, became friends in the night Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan and former Councillor Wajid Khan, both from the AAP, embraced each other.
Both Amanatullah and Wajid were good friends but the relationship soured in the last few years and today at the MLA office both their groups gathered to discuss the issues. After all was resolved sweets were distributed, workers feasted on biryani and a march too was taken out with both Khans marching in tandem.
According to political observers the coming of two Khans will have impact on the outcome of MCD elections 2022.
