Update on Shaheen Bagh family’s missing teen son Ahmed

A family in Shaheen Bagh is elated after their 18-year-old son Umari Ahmed, mentally weak, who had gone missing from the locality on December 15, has been reunited with them.

Sharing this information, Ahmed’s sister told the OT over phone that we had received a call from somebody in Punjab about him. The family rushed there and brought him back, she said.

Ahmed had gone out on bicycle on that very day in the locality to never return, the family’s friend had said earlier. Following his disappearance, the family had put posters across the area, urging residents to share information with them if they find him.

The OT had carried his story twice in the last few days.
