Inaugurated 2nd Freedom Fighters Fountain in Shaheen Bagh to make Okhla clean, beautiful: Amanatullah (video)
Freedom Fighters Fountain in Shaheen Bagh was inaugurated on Friday weeks after its work was completed. Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan with his supporters turned up at the fountain as scheduled.
While sharing information about it, Khan wrote on his timeline: “Inaugurated 2nd Freedom Fighters Fountain in Shaheen Bagh to make Okhla clean and beautiful.”
The first Freedom Fighters Fountain was made near Jamia Metro Station. Months ago it had run into controversy as in place of Indian freedom fighter it had photo of Bangladeshi leader. After a BJP leader pointed this out, TV anchors rushed to the spot to cover it. Later on the photo was removed.
After the OT posted a video on its social media page, many netizens urged the MLA to focus on cleanliness of piled-up garbage on roadside at Shaheen Bagh and Abul Fazal Enclave. A netizen even reminded him of garbage thrown on road of Ghaffar Manzil.
