Prof Najma to chair Jamia-Oxford University webinar on Gandhian thought and philosophy
Jamia Millia Islamia is organising a webinar on “Gandhian Thought and Philosophy” in association with the University of Oxford, UK on August 11, 2020 to celebrate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The two hours long webinar will start at 5:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and 11:30 AM UK time.
Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will be the Chief Guest of the webinar.
Prof Faisal Devji from Dept of History, University of Oxford, UK will be the main speaker in the webinar. He will be delivering a lecture on “the Geography of Non-Violence”.
Gandhian Scholar and former Vice-Chancellor of Meerut University Dr Ravindra Kumar will be the discussant in the webinar.
Prof Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, Jamia, shall chair the webinar session.
