After returning from Dubai, Hammad takes entrepreneurial plunge
Hammad Khan took entrepreneurial plunge on Sunday as he opened his carpet showroom in Abul Fazal Enclave with his mother inaugurating the outlet.
Before starting his own business said he worked in Dubai for years in digital marketing and then some four years ago he came to India and started working as interior designer.
Hammad, 31, said he has been residing in Okhla for the last 8 years and knows the area well. “I like carpets as my father was into it for the last 12 years. But we never had our showroom so I thought why not to open one in the area where I reside. We had options to open it in other parts of Delhi on rent but the family took a decision to have one in Okhla and the response has been overwhelming. People come from Jasola, Noida and other places to purchase our carpets,” he said.
