    Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi-NCR? Did you feel it in Okhla? According to media reports an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred 70 km southeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan at around 10.19 am.

    5.9-magnitude earthquake strikes Afghanistan, tremors felt in J&K, Delhi-NCR. According to India’s National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was reported near Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Sunday morning. The tremors, which lasted for a few seconds, occurred around 11.23 am, seismologists said, reported NDTV.

    Netizens shared their experience in the virtual world with one user writing: “I just experience a mild tremor in Delhi.” However, when contacted many Okhla residents expressed their surprise. One resident said usually it is Sunday and many of us wake up late and hence we could not experience the mild earthquake tremors. They said they came to know about it after reading the OT.

    “Earthquake of Magnitude:5.2, Occurred on 28-05-2023, 11:19:55 IST, Lat: 36.56 & Long: 71.13, Depth: 220 Km ,Location: Afghanistan,” the National Center of Seismology said.
