A Delhi Court on Saturday discharged Sharjeel Imam and Asif Iqbal Tanha in a case connected to the incidents of violence at Jamia Millia Islamia in December 2019, tweeted LiveLawIndia.
According to media reports, both have been discharged in Jamia violence case. Tanha is a student of Jamia and is out on bail.

A detailed order in the matter is awaited, reported the media.
However, Imam will continue to remain in jail as he is an accused in the larger conspiracy case of the 2020 northeast Delhi riots, reported PTI.
The order was pronounced by the Saket court bench of Additional Sessions Judge Arul Varma, reported India Today.
