BJP’s Nitu consolidates her position, wins Sarita Vihar for second term
Nitu Manish Chaudhary, who was contesting for second time, has won the election defeating AAP’s Muskan by a convincing margin. By doing so, Nitu has consolidated her position in the ward further.
Before joining the BJP, Nitu had won the election on Congress ticket but midway left the party to join the BJP and this time around she contested the election on BJP ticket after delimitation. After winning the election, Nitu’s husband Manish Chaudhary congratulated the residents for voting her into power once again at a time when the AAP has succeeded in ending BJP’s more than 15-year-old rule of the MCD.
Ghaffar Manzil resident Shahana Parveen who had fought on Congress ticket failed to sail through.
Another candidate Shabnam Barni also couldn’t succeed in the fray.
