Another stabbing incident, Batla House woman gets 32 stitches

Another stabbing incident was reported in Jamia Nagar, according to Mahmood Ahmed. Sharing this information on his timeline some 18 hours ago, he wrote in Hinidi that this incident took place in Jogabai a day ago.

Thirty-two-year-old Shahana was rushed to a trauma centre and she got 32 stitches, said her sister Fauzia.

She said: “The incident took place on May 25 at 7 pm in Batla House. An unknown person attacked and fled from the spot. We don’t have any personal enmity with anybody in the locality. As the attacker had put mask on his face, it was difficult to identify him. The attack happened so suddenly that my sister was unable to understand what happened to her. While defending the attack, she sustained injuries on her hand.”

The family has been residing in Batla House for the last 36 years. Both the sisters are housewives.

Fauzia, who is a pass-out from Jamia Millia Islamia, said brought up in Okhla. My sister is still in pain and unable to move two of her fingers, she said.

The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.

    In a social media post Mahmood wrote: कल रात …
