The Congress party office in New Delhi hosted an event where Waseem officially rejoined the party, according to his son.
Having previously departed from the Congress to join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and later the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Waseem has come full circle by returning to his original political home.
In recognition of his experience and contributions, Waseem has been appointed Vice Chairman of the unorganised workers body in Delhi.
Also, he has been allocated an office for his official duties, marking a significant step in his reintegration into the Congress fold.
