    Jamia’s summer camp for Okhla kids also: All you need to know from fees, registration date and more

    Jamia Senior Secondary School (Morning shift), along with the Middle School , will conduct an intensive summer camp for 15 days w.e.f. 12th June to 26th June 2023 for the age group 11 to 18 years. Mushir Fatma Nursery School, JMI will also be conducting a summer camp for 10 days, w.e.f. 15th June 2023 till 24th June 2023 for children aged between 04 to 10 years.

    The camp at Jamia Senior Secondary School aims to provide an immersive and engaging learning experience during the summer break to students not just from the schools of the JMI, but also extend beyond boundaries to cater to the community outside the JMI campus.

    The camp will be organised in the school campus at different levels addressing the multiple intelligences and individual differences. The summer intensive camp will offer a range of learning activities that would enable the participants to learn, unlearn and relearn and emerge with holistic personalities.

    The all-inclusive curriculum will be designed to align with the needs of the learners at different levels focusing on personality development, communication skills, Sports, martial arts, life skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking, theatre, arts and music. Interactive teaching methods, hands-on experiments, and group activities will be incorporated to enhance learning outcomes. Specialized workshops will be organised to promote skill development and explore various disciplines beyond the school curriculum.

    Emphasis will be placed on fostering creativity, innovation, and 21st-century skills among the participants. Experts and professionals will act as mentors, providing guidance and inspiration to the students throughout the camp. The activities will expose students to real- world applications of their academic knowledge and broaden their horizons. Recreational activities such as sports, outdoor adventures, team-building exercises, and cultural events will be included to promote physical fitness, collaboration, and social interaction.

    Field trips to the university, museum, and local landmarks will be organized to enhance experiential learning. Teachers and mentors will closely monitor each student’s development throughout the camp, identifying areas for improvement and offering guidance as needed.
    An admission fee of Rs 8,000 will be charged per student for the camp and the last date for Registration is 10th June, 2023. The camp venue will be Jamia Senior Secondary School and the camp timings will be 09 AM TO 12 Noon (3 hours duration).

    Mushir Fatma Nursery School, JMI will also be conducting a summer camp for 10 days, w.e.f. 15th June 2023 till 24th June 2023 for children aged between 04 to 10 years. The camp aims to provide a platform to students of Jamia schools as well as community outside Jamia campus by keeping them engaged and giving them opportunities and exposure to explore their interests beyond academics and learn new skills, thus enhancing their knowledge, creativity and experience.

    The camp will be designed to provide hands on experience in activities like dance, drama, music, zumba, art and craft, puppetry, theatre, science experiments and other fun games to enhance learning and to develop various skills.
    Experts and professionals will act as mentors providing guidance, support and encouragement to the students throughout the camp.

    Field trips within the school campus will be organized for experiential learning. Teachers and mentors will closely monitor children on an individual basis throughout the camp in order to guide them and improve their overall personality.

    Age group: 04-10 years
    Admission fees: Rs. 5000/- per student
    Registration dates: 08 th June 2023- 13 th June 2023
    Camp timings: 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon (3 hours)
