Sultan’s death: What did family members say? Probe on.
After a body of a man was found in Batla House today, residents were deeply concerned as the identification could not be made.
Later on the family turned up at the Jamia Nagar Police station to lay claim to the body identified as Sultan. A resident said the family identified the body after the photo of the deceased was circulated widely in the virtual world in the locality.
The probe in the case is on and the body of 30-year-old Sultan, married just a few months ago, has been sent for postmortem. The development has left residents in a shock as the body was found near baraat ghar at a mazaar compound in Batla House.
An YouTuber who interviewed the family said the family smells foul play in the matter. They have alleged that Sultan has been murdered.
The reason of death will only be known after the probe is completed.
Residents are worried about the safety as in the last 24 hours two bodies have been found in the locality.
The deceased family is from Bihar and has been residing in Abul Fazal Enclave for years. They are five brothers. Two brothers, including Sultan, are into business, said a neighbour.
