12-year-old boy allegedly commits suicide after father turns down to fufil his birthday demand
A 12-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by “hanging himself with shoe laces” in his house after his father turned down his demand for arranging DJ on his birthday on Sunday, according to a family relative.
However, a post-mortem report is awaited and it is only after which it could be ascertained whether he died of suicide. Local police version is still awaited on the incident.
The deceased’s relative said the incident took place on Sunday in Okhla, the day when the boy celebrated his birthday in his house.
The boy asked his father to arrange DJ and when he turned down his demand the boy got upset, said the relative, adding only cake was available for the birthday event.
Later on the boy went on to his flat’s terrace and the family got busy in other work, he said.
After some minutes when the family called him and when he didn’t respond a family member went on the terrace to look for him and found him there in a shocking state and they immediately rushed him to a local hospital, he said from the hospital where the post-mortem is to take place.
