Sonia, Rahul release pigeons of peace with Zakir Nagar Councillor Nazia at Bharat Jodo Yatra
The Bharat Jodo which entered Delhi from Badarpur on Saturday morning was a huge hit with large number of Okhla residents and Congress workers turning up at several places, including Okhla Mod, to welcome Rahul Gandhi.

It was her that Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other family members also turned up to join Rahul in the march. During a brief stop at Okhla Mod, Sonia and Rahul released two pigeons for peace with new Zakir Nagar Councillor Nazia Danish on their side at 10.45 pm on Saturday.
Since the photo has been released by Nazia’s husband it has literally gone viral on the social media.
The OT called Danish, three-time Councillor of Zakir Nagar, to know what happened.
“The pigeons were released for peace and they were domesticated one and are now back to my house. They were taken by my supporters and are with us for the last seven years,” he said.
