Two photos of Shaheen Bagh have grabbed unprecedented eyeballs on the social media with comments pouring from across the locality.
After activist Sharib Hasan’s clicked photos were posted on the FB page of the OT it went literally viral with residents expressing happiness over the development of more greenery in the strippish Shaheen Bagh park that for years was in the news for the wrong reason.
Sharib told the OT over phone that how residents, including some activists, have launched plant your own tree drive in Shaheen Bagh to increase greenery and beat pollution.
A few days ago, some parts of the park were cleaned with the aim to plant more trees and turn it into a walking place for residents. Also, residents use parking space for exercise as a few months ago the authorities install exercising instruments there.
