Helping devotees break fasting in Ramzan, here is Khedmat’s video
During Ramzan, the month of fasting, there are many people who find it hard to break their fasting while returning from office or going for some emergency work and it is for such people that many activists put kiosks on roadside, distributing Iftar kits, helping them break their fasting.
For many it is a big relief. In Okhla too there are many people who have been carrying forward this tradition. Zakir Nagar-based NGO Khedmat too has been at the forefront of serving people in the locality.
Sharing a few photos and videos with the OT, he wrote: “Day 1 of Khedmat’s Kitchen. Alhamdulillah distributed about 800 packs of vegetable biryani, samosa, banana, water bottles…”
IT profession, Faiz Ilahi, was seen standing in the hot weather, distributing Iftar kits to residents with is other colleagues in Zakir Nagar.
There are others too in the locality who make sure that passersby who fail to reach their houses or destination during Iftar should not face any hardship.
