A proud moment!
The International Foundation of the House of Human Sciences, France, has awarded the prestigious grant, the “Directors of Associated Studies” (DEA) programme-2021 to Professor Naved Iqbal, Department of Psychology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Under this programme, Prof Iqbal has been invited for a research stay in France to understand the perspective of French Mental Health professionals on child maltreatment and child protection and subsequently compare it with Indian mental health professionals on the same issue.
Prof. Catherine Belzung, University of Tours, France has also invited him to her laboratory where Prof. Iqbal will deliver lectures related to child maltreatment and its negative impact on mental health and interact with her colleagues for possible future research collaboration.
