A prominent figure of Okhla and Jamia Millia Islamia has passed away.
“We regret to inform the sad demise of Ikram Hussain Khan (ex-Registrar Jamia Millia Islamia and former Director Vigilance MoSJ&WE). Tadfeen took place at Shaheen Bagh graveyard after Isha. Namaz-e-janaza was held at Iqra Masjid in Jasola at 9:00 pm,” said a family relative.
He was 85 plus and has left behind five children, including two daughters.

Khan was born in Kaimganj in Uttar Pradesh and he died at his Jasola resident at 6 pm today from age-related issues, said Khan’s grandson Nabeel Khan.
“His wife died in 2019,” said Nabeel.
After retiring, Khan devoted his time to educational uplift of Muslims and he was associated with Jogabai-headquartered IOS.
