Late night power outage plunges this part of Okhla into darkness
This part of Okhla, Abul Fazal Enclave, has no power. The power cut took place late night thirty minutes ago, said residents of G block in AFE. They said this is not new as late night power goes.
Due to high temperature, many residents, who don’t have inverter, said they are unable to sleep. Even those with inverter are facing hardship and they won’t be able to switch on their air condition without which they won’t be able to sleep. With temperature rising, the city has seen peak power demand.
Many residents received a message on their phone from power discom: “Dear customers, power supply in your area is affected due to breakdown. Our team is on the job and trying to restore it as soon as soon.”
