Police arrest 3, including 1 from Jamia Nagar, for black marketing oxygen, nitrogen cylinders
The Delhi Police has arrested three people, including one from Jamia Nagar, for black marketing oxygen cylinders, nitrogen cylinders and flow meters, it said in a statement issued to the media.

Four oxygen cylinders, five nitrogen cylinders, 20 flow meters and one car were recovered from the accused, said the police.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South district, Atul Kumar Thakur on Monday, police got information that one person was coming near Ghitorni metro station for selling oxygen cylinders at high rates.
“Thereafter, a trap was laid near main road Ghitorni metro station and one car was checked. When police checked the vehicle, they found two oxygen cylinders. The accused person disclosed that he used to sell the big oxygen cylinder at Rs 50,000 and the small one at Rs 30,000….” said the DCP.
“Police arrested his associates with four more oxygen cylinders, five nitrogen cylinders and several flow meters from Mahipal Farms, Aaya Nagar,” the DCP said.
The PTI also reported.
The accused used to hoard the oxygen cylinders, nitrogen cylinders and flow meters and then used to sell at very high rates to the needy persons during the pandemic, it said.
