Annihilated by pandemic, this Okhla-based institute is back on its feet again
Prior the Covid pandemic, Okhla-based Gurucool had five active centers in various parts of Delhi but unfortunately it had to close them down with the onset of lockdown, said a representative of the centre.
But they didn’t give up and once again a few days ago they gathered enough resources to start a new beginning. Two days ago, Gurucool inaugurated its first Next Gen Classes post pandemic at the main road of Thokar number 4, Okhla.
The ceremony commenced at 4pm with the Ribbon being cut by the elderly people followed by a fun interactive cool meet session with the members, interns and the overflowing visitors at Gurucool, it said.
Hence, they meanwhile decided to channel their resources into building their digital presence via the development of their Padhaai App – An initiative that aims to provide free and quality education accessible for students pan India, it said.
But with the Covid crisis seemingly in control now, the company couldn’t be any more grateful to claim back their physical spaces, a space meant for each student to learn and thrive in their own time, said Gurucool.
Offering features of personalised learning both digitally and physically, reaching out to as many local communities and standardising the overall student experience since its foundation in 2019, Gurucool is set to be India’s next gen coaching center, it said.
“Education needs to be redefined to eradicate collective ignorance. One who hasn’t learnt empathy hasn’t completed his education, no matter what his academic qualification,” said Hammad Shahid from Gurucool.
The company is to organise a guru summit on November 21 where they would be hosting multiple industry experts including academicians and entrepreneurs from various domains to discuss on ways to advocate and innovate education all the more, it said.
