Jamia alumnus MP Danish felicitated
During an event organised by Overseas chapter of India Islamic Cultural Center in Riyadh, BSP Member of Parliament (MP) Kunwar Danish Ali was felicitated for his exceptional performance in Parliament: BY M Zakir Azmi Nadvi.
Earlier, the Convener of India Islamic Cultural Center’s Overseas chapter, Murshid Kamal, welcomed the young MP Ali at a five-star hotel in Riyadh. He recalled the memorable moments spent with him and praised the fact that Ali speaks his mind on Muslim issues inside and outside Parliament with boldness and courage.
Famous personalities of Riyadh Nadeem Tareen, Rashid Ali Sheikh, Akhtarul Islam Siddiqui, Maulana Tariq Nadvi also addressed the ceremony. Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Association President Arshad Ali Khan, Jamia Alumni Association Ex-President Engineer Atiq Ahmed and Joint Secretary were among the prominent participants. Naushad Alam, Shabbir Nadvi, Maulana Zakir Nadvi, Muqtadar Khan, Mohammad Shahabuddin, Arif Khan also graced the event. At the end of the programme, a commemorative memento was presented to the Member of Parliament by Nadeem Tareen, Rashid Ali Sheikh and Akhtarul Islam Siddiqui.
Ali is an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia.
