3K candidates apply online, offline in Hamdard mega job fair
Jamia Hamdard and Business Employment Bureau (BEB) in collaboration with Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organised a “Mega Job Fair” on December 22 in the Hamdard Convention Center, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, said the university.
“The vision of Hamid Ahmed, Chancellor, is to make empowered the underprivileged and other candidates by giving the ample opportunities to compete in the race and get placed in established organisations. This event was a grand success as the industry and hospitals interacted with candidates. A huge numbers of candidates were interviewed and selected by various companies and hospitals,” said the university PRO.
The main objective of job fair was to facilitate the candidates in a way that they can get exposed to the industry and hospitals inter faces and to aid candidates in getting placed with esteemed organisations where they can serve the companies through their competence, said the university.
The inaugural function was held in the presence of Prof (Dr) M Afshar Alam, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard, Shaukat Mufti, Executive Secretary, Business and Employment Bureau (BEB), Farooq Siddique, Head NGO, Association of Muslim Professionals and Prof (Dr) Manju Chhugani, Dean School of Nursing Sciences and Allied Health.
More than 3,000 candidates were registered through the online and the offline in the mega job fair, said the university, adding that it seems that about 1,000 candidates were selected by 30 companies/hospitals, who participated in the mega job fair at Jamia Hamdard.
Many well companies and hospital participated.
